The Superior Pump 92151 submersible sump pump has a stainless steel housing, a cast iron base and a thermoplastic handle giving it durability that will last for years. The heavy cast iron keeps the sump pump anchored in the sump basin. The 92151 sump pump has a 1 HP motor that can move up to 5160 gallons of water per hour with no lift and 4500 gallons per hour at 10 feet height. The non-clogging thermoplastic vortex impeller can easily handle 1/2 inch solids. The vertical float switch automatically turns the pump on when the water level reaches 8-1/2 inches and turns it off when the water recedes to 3 inches. The pump can also be used as a utility pump by removing the float switch.
The 92151 model has a 2 inch discharge for maximum flow but it comes with a 1-1/2 inch adaptor. The intake screen filters out large debris reducing clogging and extending the life of the pump.
