RainReserve Rain Barrel Diverter Kit
The RainReserve Rain Barrel Complete Diverter Kit creates a closed system that doesn’t allow outside contaminants to enter into the water supply. Everything is included in the kit except for the rain barrel which must be purchased separately. The downspout diverter is made of a durable UV resistant hybrid bio resin plastic that will last a lifetime. It attaches to your downspout and diverts water into your rain barrel and allows debris to continue through your downspout along with excess rainwater to exit away from your house. When the rain barrel fills up overflow rainwater is returned back through the downspout which eliminates the possibility of flooding.
The RainReserve Rain Diverter allows you the flexibility to place your rain barrel away from the downspout so you can discreetly place it out of view. It also gives you the ability to add an unlimited number of barrels to one downspout. There are advantages to using rainwater. It can save you money and water and it doesn’t contain harmful chemicals like floride and chlorine. It does contain nitrogen and CO2 which are great for the growth of your plants.
The RainReserve Rain Diverter can be used with any rain barrel or water tank. The kit includes a rain diverter that can be installed on standard 2 X 3 or 3 X 4 downspouts. The diverter has 2 outlet ports so you can fill 2 rain barrels or water tanks at the same time if you choose to do so. It also has an access door for easy maintenance. The kit also includes a high flow spigot with a flow rate of 10 gallons / minute with a 55 gallon barrel elevated 8 inches. The spigot has threads to attach your garden hose.
